Short courses in agriculture:
Hygro has accreditation for numerous short courses ranging from soil preparation to intensive farming systems like hydroponics and grape vine production. These short courses is focussed on the development of critical skills which is aimed at closing the skills gaps that limits the efficiency of a labour force for any commercial farm.

Occupational skills programmes:
As the name suggests, Occupational skills programmes is aimed at the development learner's occupation as a whole. The learner is trained in every facet of his/her job or occupation. These occupational programmes ranges from farm supervisor programmes to farming managers  training programmes. These occupational training programmes consists of a combination of unit standards that addresses the skills needs of a specific occupation.

Learnerships:
A Learnership is a vocational education and training programme. It combines theory and practice, culminating in a qualification that is registered with SAQA.  A person who successfully completes a learnership will have a qualification that signifies occupational competence and is recognised throughout the country. Learnerships range in NQF levels of 1-4. Learnerships that we offer include:
Plant production NQF 1-4
Animal production NQF 1-4
Horticulture NQF 1

Rural development training projects:
Rural development training is aimed at the alleviation of poverty through intensive training projects that gives poor communities the opportunity to develop themselves as farmers. The projects aims at the development of people by combining skills development with practical experience for a period of 3 to 5 years after which the ownership of the farming unit or "project"  is transferred to the community members. After the transference of ownership has been completed Hygro Training cc  provide these groups with after care and mentoring to ensure success
